Announcing my upcoming Non-Fiction EBook

I am extremely excited to announce that my first book is ready and ready for release. Moving from writer to author marks an important phase of my life and I wanted to share it with all of you!

I’m publishing my first non-fiction ebook — ‘Yes, The Eggplant is A Chicken-A Collection of Humor Essays’ on Amazon soon! The book is a collection of humor and satire essays from my observations on how we use the internet, especially Social Media, and drown ourselves in it. Some of these essays are curated from my own Medium articles, and some are new.

‘Yes, The Eggplant is A Chicken’ is full of humor and takes a jab at the online lives we lead. The essays satirize the ways we consume the internet and flaunt ourselves on Social Media while presenting the inner clashes we suffer when we drown ourselves deep in the online world. Whether we are the Instagram superstars, or the late risers in need of ‘how-to-wake-up-early’ tips or the motivation hungry sharks, we all love our online avatars and also secretly abhor our online social lives.

Yes, the book is dedicated to my readers who take their phones secretly to the toilet every morning. My readers are also warned of the satire that abounds in the book, and I hope they are offended enough by it.

I’m grateful to all my readers here on Medium, for their encouragement and the enriching conversations which helped me fast-track myself to work on this book. I’m extra grateful to some of my Medium friends who took time out to read my drafts and give me their precious suggestions and who have been a constant encouragement during the process.

I am also super grateful to my dog for not disturbing me and for gnawing on his bone all day while I wrote this book.

I just remembered I don’t have a dog.
