Some Thoughts. Illustrated.

With the pandemic taking over lives, I’ve not really written anything. However, I’ve just made some time for a little creativity and journaled. Nothing too fancy but just some nuggets of life, and sometimes a poem or two. I’ve also done some illustrations over the last few days. Mostly, I’ve used the kiddo’s iPad to sketch, but strangely, I’ve also taken a liking to watercolors. Though I’m a complete beginner with watercolors and I’m loving it for now, the challenge is I am extremely strapped for time and, therefore, whatever little time I get, I ensure I make good use of it and the digital medium comes in handy. Watercoloring is great except that it demands a little more time.

Here are some illustrations I did:

The new Solar System with Corona.
The box that contains everything you want. The box is not yours yet.
I’m doing a month of no-added sugar and my mug of loving chai has become a mug of abomination.
Hope vs reality
Li’l bit of sunshine
Across the hill where glass buildings hold dreams of people
A li’l something for the husband.

Hope you enjoyed these! I’ll post a few more next week.
