Ok, so this has happened to me too, and from the FB writers groups I am in, a lot more Medium writers are affected. I wrote to their support team and this is what I got: “We are currently experiencing a backup in our data pipeline that process certain stats and counts. This is showing itself in various places of the product, including the stats page, post page response and recommend counts, and notifications.”

Looks like this should be fixed soon!
